I just found out about “Garrow’s Law” last week and have been rationing myself one episode per night. Fantastic stuff.
Set in the shifting social climate of 18th-century England, Garrow’s Law follows the true case stories of barrister William Garrow as he fights to combat injustice in the Old Bailey. The show discusses contemporary topics such as slavery, homosexuality, and women’s rights, as well as focusing on Garrow’s personal life, along with his fellow crusader, Lady Sarah Hill. The show stars Andrew Buchanan, Lyndsey Marshall, and Alun Armstrong, and airs on BBC 1.
